Pop Culture for Sale

On Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16, at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Guernsey’s Auction House is presenting for sale the Pugliese Collection of pop culture artifacts. There is an amazing array of items listed at the disappointing preview site, including costumes from both television and movie versions of Superman and Batman, Margaret Hamilton’s witch hat from The Wizard of Oz, the Maltese Falcon (the titular statuette from the movie, which previously sold at auction for upwards of $380k), and the gun that Jack Ruby used to kill Lee Harvey Oswald.

There’s really nothing quite like it, and should be really interesting.
