CNN’s Michael Ware comments on the McCain claim that Obama is at a disadvantage because he’s only been to Iraq once in the video below. Ware also comments on whether or not politicians’ visits to Iraq actually give them an accurate view of exactly what’s going on.

  1. When I think of McCain’s visits to Iraq, I think of two of his visits.

Most resently, he needed to be told by Joe Lieberman that there was a differnce between Sunnis, Shiites and al Qaeda. THAT TELLS ME THAT HE DOES NOT EVEN HAVE THE MOST SUPERFICIAL AND INCOMPLETE UNDERSTANDING OF IRAQI POLITICS. THIS IS PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT SINCE GENERAL PETRAEUS HAD SAID THE IRAQI VIOLENCE WILL ONLY STOP WHEN THERE IS A POLITICAL SOLUTION.

His visit to a Baghdad market with Blackhawk helicopters circling overhead and surrounded by unseen crack troops on the ground. THIS TELL ME THAT McCAIN IS PARTICIPATING IN THE LYING ABOUT IRAQ.
