Jeopardy Online Qualifying This Week

Filed under: Entertainment — CPav @ 1:52 pm

The long-running television show Jeopardy is holding an online qualifying test this week.  Time and date varies based on where you’re viewing from:

Tuesday January 27 @ 8 p.m. EST for East Coast viewers
Wednesday January 28 @ 8 p.m. CST/7 p.m. MST for Central and Mountain viewers
Thursday January 29 @ 8 p.m. PST for Pacific Coast viewers, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Passing this test does not guarantee you a spot on the show, nor does it guarantee an “in-person” interview, but it’s the first screening step to getting there.  Registration beforehand is required.  More details are available at

United States of Tara Update

Earlier this week, I mentioned a free screening of The United States of Tara, Showtime’s new, highly pedigreed series about a woman with MPD. In that note, I mentioned that it was a free screening, but did not specify that the screening was of the first two episodes of the series, and that there will be free refreshments.

If you don’t want to see the episodes at the theater, Showtime is offering the first episode for viewing online prior to the premiere of the show next Sunday.
